Raw Chinese Web novels that I’ve enjoyed reading.

Hey, so I’m just posting a list of novels I’ve actually finished reading to the end. (This is very rare for me for I usually drop a novel midway)

Most of them have not been picked up by a translation group, so if you’re a translator that likes one of my recommendations, feel free to pick it up!

I’ll be updating this list as I complete new raw web novels. Oh also, these books are mostly of romance genre with a female protagonist.

Note: All recommendations are of my personal opinion and we may not like the same thing.

Historical fiction

悠闲富贵美娘子(Jjwxc novel – hurhur this novel is so light-hearted and addicting, I cannot recommend this enough if you like slice-of-life novels with a pinch of comedy in it and in which the mc chases after her man. Transmigration novel).

重生之归位( Jjwxc – The male lead of this novel has a more realistic personality in which it’s either a hit or a miss with whether you’ll like him, but I personally find it refreshing as webnovels usually have perfect male leads. The charm of this novel is in its triple transmigration. When you get three transmigrators at the same time… You should already know how interesting the story will be, so I won’t delve further.)

大帝姬( Qidian novel – this is really high on qidian’s ranking. A very well-written plot full of mysteries, it keeps me constantly guessing on where the plot would go next, though I am unsuccessful most of the time cause this novel is quite unpredictable which is why it’s such an enjoyable read. I must emphasize that there is no romance whatsoever in this novel. Transmigration novel).

九重紫 (Qidian novel – The plot is really good, in which it keeps you on your toes. There are new surprises in the plot every now or so you won’t get bored with this. Transmigration novel).

Modern world

你是我的小确幸 (Jjwxc novel – This author has other books in this series that is equally as good. A really well-written book with developed characters in terms of character background and personality, of course a great plot as well. The male lead is the type of man that you’d really love. Time well spent on this book).

照见星星的她(Jjwxc – A really interesting novel that I especially want to recommend. It has well-developed characters and plot. One where the romance develops slow but surely. You can expect alot from this novel whether it be the occasional comedy or the romance).

时光与你有染(Jjwxc – Male lead is the type of perfect man which you will only find in a fictional world, the main attraction of this novel is the fact that the male lead waited for the mc for seven full years after falling in love with her voice).

恰似寒光遇骄阳|Translated (Qidian novel – This is so funny couldn’t stop laughing throughout)

娱乐圈头条 (Qidian novel – The original movie scripts in this novel is really well written and interesting. From the chinese readers review, this novel seems to be a pretty accurate description of the china entertainment industry. What initially drawn me to pick this up is the novel’s unique transmigration in which the mc transmigrates into someone else’s body without any time travel and somebody else transmigrates into the mc’s body).

重生之泳将 – (Jjwxc – The only Bl in my list in which I skipped all the bl parts but still I couldn’t give up on the novel cause the competitive swimming parts are really good. Also the only novel with a male protagonist in my list. This is one of the very well-written competitive sports novel. This is a growth novel in which the story follows the mc that had transmigrated back to his past and then chose to become a professional swimmer.

These books are some of my recent binge-reads so I’ve forgotten the titles of a few others I’ll think about it and update this list when I do remember.

I’ll try to come up with a temporary translated name for them.
